Description

Michter's slogan is "Cost be damned!" They have very detailed specifications for their barrels, utilize a lower barrel entry proof (which means they have to use more barrels), and they heat cycle their barrels (raise and lower the temperature of their rickhouse) which allows for more flavor absorption from the barrel into the bourbon. All of these practices are more costly, but all contribute to a better tasting bourbon.
