Fernet Branca was created in 1845 by Bernardino Fernet, who started the company which still produces this unique Amaro to this day. It is a special journey through the 27 different herbs, roots and spices from around the world, including saffron, myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, aloe vera and gentian. It has been kept a secret for generations and is truly a one of a kind formula. Bitter and intriguing complex, its herbs presents itself firmly to the palate then transform to the sweet and delicate notes of the plants and flowers leaving the bitter taste in the background. It is typically served as an after-dinner drink or digestif.
